Local fire (How do I setup a donations page?)

Kudos to you OP, thats an awfully nice thing to want to do for a family that you dont really know.

I have no idea as to how to go about setting up a donations page but much respect to you :)

I live directly across the street, horrifying views this morning. A few locals have gone door to door but it seems quite an old school technique when we have the powers of the internet now.

Ok my apologies, you do know them but stil an awfully nice gesture...a lot of neighbours wouldnt give a toss especially where i live ie London:p
 
Why on earth would you buy a house and not insure it? :confused:

I've had to deal with a couple of reinstatement jobs paid by the insurance company as well as alternative living costs to cover where the family stayed during the works.

The house is only rented, but living in the house was a single mother with four children so that's an expensive job putting clothes back on them in itself.
