Yes, you can sell a car in your mother's name but it may make potential buyers a bit nervy, so be prepared for that.

Is still live with my mother so getting her to come won't be a problem. It just means delaying me pickin the car up due to her work. Also hence that's why we both have use of the car. No point having 3 cars if we live in the same house and work different shifts.

You will be given the yellow part of the log book to send back anyway, so just get her to sign it before you send it off.
