Just wanted to post this as i was amazed with logitechs customer service.

I bought a g15 keyboard from ocuk around 2006, had many a good 4 years worth out of it, last week i spilt my coffee over the keyboard.

The keyboard was useless took it to bits and saw it just needed a new membrane, emailed logitech to ask if they would replace the membrane.

After a few days I got a response, stating that they dont do replacement parts for the g15. So though ok not a problem i suppose. Further reading the email back, they are going to replace the keyboard. So I'm now the proud user of a spanking new G15 keyboard that arrived today.

So all I can say Logitech top notch customer service

They seem to get the same good reports everywhere. Certainly wouldnt hesitate to buy one of their products

Aren't they the ones that will replace items but usually ask that you send them a photo of the old one smashed with a hammer, or something?
(Or is that a different company?)

Yea I broke the receiver on my MX Rev and I emailed them asking if they sold replacements and they said they would just replace the entire mouse. A fully boxed one arrived within a few days, amazing service.

I didnt get a request to photograph my keyboard smashed up, even though atm its in bits.

Logitech has great customer service. The scroll wheel on my Logitech G9 started to mess up and I phoned them and they sent the G9x which just came out at the time :D

What sort of evidence do you need to show proof of ownership/purchase?

Got my previous mouse (G5) sitting around unused despite it being my favourite as it seems the laser sensor has had it, I believe i have nothing left but the mouse itself though, really should learn to keep receipts.

They only asked where I bought mine from which was amazon.

Excellent company. Had an MX3100 (I think) wireless keyboard and mouse which was nearly 5 years old, the wheel started being a bit iffy and occasionally the keyboard would just disconnect. Couple days later had a brand new MX5500 set through the post :D.

A few keys on my G11 just broke randomly the other day. The keyboard is waaaay out of warranty but even so I fired off an email to them to see if there was anything I could do.

A couple of days later and while they said they couldn't replace it cos it was out of warranty (like over a year), they gave me a 50% discount code to spend on anything I liked!

Thanks Logitech! :D

Na its them, they wanted me to smash my z-5500 control pod before they sent me a new one, i told them it wasn't happening and got a new one all be it after a considerable wait.

I almost want my MX518 to snuff it so I can experience the wonder of Logitech customer support!

They're fabulous. I had a Logitech MOMO Steering wheel, expensive bit of kit, circa £150 that came with a two year warranty. The pedals starting acting up and not registering so I phoned the support line. The guy on the phone asked me a few questions then said to leave it with him and he'd call me back. 2 days later UPS delivered a brand new Wheel, the latest version without any smashing up involved. Wouldn;t hesitate to use them again and I currently have a g11 keyboard which has outlasted my Saitek Cyborg which went wrong within the warranty and Saitek and the retailer didn't want to know.

havn't experienced their customer service, though i havn't had to. Had a wireless keyboard for what must be 4+ years, rarely ever have to replace batteries ( soo much better than a cheap ****** one i've got downstairs), it's been smacked off stuff quite a lot (by accident, i'm not angry :P )... only thing wrong is one of the feet keeps coming off. I wouldn't hesitate buying another logitech if this finally broke, and i'd be fine spending a bit more to get a logitech
