** LOGITECH - BACK AT OCUK **

I will share some market info with you in the interests of ocuk being honest and open. Logitech products used to be sold into retailers like us in a very deal driven manner often meaning that the distributors sold at a loss to clear aged stock. This was obviously great for customers but ultimately meant that the market was very unstable. Logitech have really taken great steps to ensure that their new range is only in the hands of retailers that uphold their pricing structures. Logitech are an important brand for OcUK and we submitted our application to be a part of their new product launch on the premise that we would do everything we could to ensure that the Logitech products we sell are at the right prices.

This doesn't mean to say that promotions and deals will not happen. Keep your eyes peeled as I plan on working closely with Logitech to bring the latest gear and promotions to you as quickly as I can

I have the Logitech G510s and have a Logitech G25 connected to my PS3 for GT5 as well. I want the G27 as I lost/misplaced/threw it the 2 plastic piece thingies to secure the wheel to super thin pieces so I have to use cardboard

Not that I'm not agreeing with what you are saying, but for product like the G400 gone up in price by 100-150%, it still too hard to swallow.

At £20-£25 it was THE mouse to go to no contest; £30-£35 it still decent price and worth considering; £50...there are many more other fishes in the same sea to choose from.

I think Logitech has gone a bit too far, at least on the G400.

All my gear is from logitech, I wouldn't buy anyother brand, only ever once had an issue and we all know how their customer service is! Tempted by the headsets, my set is feeling a bit old now, still work fine, just fancy a fresh set. Now, blue or red.

Ill look up reviews on it. Back lighting will always be a must as will macro's and easy access to volume/media keys

Not sure still what fits my bill properly

It is a good keyboard for the money in many ways, feature packed, plenty of gimmicks as well of course, nice texture to the keys, but the backlighting isnt as bright as it could be, and the keys on my G510 rattle like hell now after 3 years of use. The construction is also quite poor. If you try the 'keyboard stress test' (taking the two edges and twisting it to see how strong it is) it flexes and creaks with minimal effort.

Wow £180 for a keyboard... and it's not even mechanical! How come the prices have gone up so much? £50 for a revamped MX510/518 is a bit of a bitter pill to swallow.

Logitech have failed to deliver and listen to what the market wants.

They want a mechanical G19 FSS!

I'm in the market for a new mouse, as the scroll wheel on my trusty Razer DeathAdder is giving up now.

I used to think Logitech mice were amazing, especially for the price, but at these prices, not so much, sadly.

Saying that Razer have had some big price hikes over the past few years also.

Decisions... decisions. What mice to get! Nothing takes me fancy at the moment.

Logitech are cheaper go direct.

Edit seems its only the headsets that are cheaper.

I do really like Logitech products but sadly I find this new range to be damn expensive as others have said, also what the hell have they done with the g400s the colour and pattern is horrible and that horrible looking rubber mouse wheel looks cheap and nasty yet as expensive as some very very nice mouses.

Can't really happen, as you cant have octoshade backlit keys along with cherry switches. I remember a Ducky rep mentioning it a while ago, 'tis why you have to choose a backlight colour for their keyboards.

I suppose what you really want is a G710+ with a GamePanel display? :D
