Logitech customer service!!

I suggest you invest in a set of Z5500s or a really expensive Harmony Remote at half price :D

I have win speakers and amp anyway so no need for them heh although I could possibly use it on a Harmony remote but I really want to wait and see what new mice Logitech out or keyboard by xmas time. Since the discount seems to have no expiry I can hang on to it for a while :p

Only downside is that the discount limit is €105 (£90) which isn't bad still considering!

The harmony remotes are ace, I have three now, one each for the bedroom, lounge and home cinema / games room.

We do have a LOT of devices in the living room (freesat hd, virgin box, sky digibox, av receiver, tv, dvd recorder, tivo) which harmony do you reckon would be best suited for this kind of config?

I got that 50% discount thing when they didin't have a replacement power supply for my steering wheel in stock.

Sounds good at first, but it doesn't work out any cheaper buying from them even with the discount.

Still, nice of them to offer. :)

Edit: And the Harmony remotes are brilliant. As long as everything you've got works via IR, even the lowest end model will be fine.

Ah that's good to know then :D

I will consider it, depends on how needy the family is for a one4all but without having the god awful one4all remotes :p

I read the thread as it started

Little did i know then that my headset was about to die on me

I have had logi kb's/speakers/mice etc since 1996, no idea the number but it would be pretty high if i added all the components up lol

Anyways, called the number for cs, a very polite dutch guy answered, talked through the problem, he explained that they would send me a new headset no problem whatsoever

To top it all, i am now getting the top of the range higher equivilent to my now dead headset (my dead one wasn't at the lower end though lol)

Obviously in a thread about great customer service you would see good comments, but to me a company that deals with problems fast and efficiently will only go from strength to strength as logitech seem to be doing anyways

This is my first ever logitech problem, and a brilliantly efficient cs takes top marks
