Logitech G810 Orion Spectrum RGB Mechanical Gaming Keyboard

I don't think I'd buy a Romer-G switch again, this is the advantage of using Cherry switches is that they can cheaply use a different type of Cherry switch and appeal to a different crowd.

For someone who's never used a mech before, the RomerG is probably a good one to start with - but if coming from a Cherry type switch then it'll be a bit marmite.

Got mine last week and impressed by the looks of it. The switches are pretty much the same as cherry browns but a little shorter travel distance and a little less bump.

However, as soon as I started using it there is a resonating noise going through the whole keyboard every time you press a key. It's almost like an echo and the space bar was even worse. I have a quiet room and have brick walls and wooden floor so the sound maybe amplified somewhat but it was to much for me to bare and I sent it back the next day.

Even if you tap the side of the keyboard you can hear an orchestra of springs. Just a characteristic of the keyboard I guess but definitely a problem for some people. Got myself a QPAD MX-80 Cherry Black and very happy with it.

Logitech used to have some of the best support available but seems to have gone to **** in recent years, shame really but now on my avoid list.

I used to love them but I've been waiting now since the 16th to find out what's happening about replacing my keyboard. They asked for a video of the problem a couple of days ago and today announced my request for replacement has been resubmitted. If I don't hear anything by Tuesday I'm going to be back on the phone complaining. I'm basically left with a £140 keyboard that I can't use and I don't know if I'm supposed to send it back or what's happening. Support has been useless.

I had to ring them in the end as their email support was useless. Luckily got through to someone who emailed me a UPS returns label. It's been returned and signed for back in holland so just waiting for a refund but this has taken weeks so far.:(

I had exactly the same experience, took about a month for them to refund me! Logitech really aren't what they used to be when it comes to CS.

I had this too. I'm thinking of just returning it back to the rainforest and just grabbing a bluetooth wireless keyboard or the corsair K63. the ring is very very apparent on every keypress in a silent room. For gaming its fine but its just a bit annoying when typing a normal entry. Its annoying because I've finally gotten used ot the keyboard.. :(
