LOL at ebay user response

i thoguht they were just toppers, its the only bed i can sleep on my belly without being i nhead spliting agony. but doesnt have the nice bounce of springs

yeah it'll be memory foam. you get toppers which cost less, of full matress out of it. wait until summer time or even a small amount of heat and you may be changing your mind as they were bad for breathing so some wake up in very hot sweats.

Just received this...

Dear wndzrr,

Im so sorry for the inconvenience but i do not wish to pay £25 for your g440 headset so i you could remove my bid or just so you know i shall not be paying for them if i win the bid , again sorry for the hassel
Thank you

- leefraser2013

Responded with...
Why bother bidding on it then?

I could sleep on a stone floor and feel no discomfort. Not sure why so many people need expensive mattresses like this.

Did this not long ago. Wasn't great, but a duvet (and much alcohol) makes it quite bearable. :p

- I'd have responded with:

'Im sorry to but you bid so that mean you pay for the item or i shall report you to ebay who dont seem to care about cellars , but i do and boxing stance will happen.'

Thank you

Probably selling a set of his own pal, I've had so many fake bidders on stuff, it's so annoying...

That's the only reason I could think of too. Zero feedback.

Having sold a fair bit in the past few days, I'm now realising just how astronomical the eBay fees are. I'm seriously tempted to not bother anymore.

People whining about 1500 pounds a bed? get a grip.

Just because people can afford luxuries doesn't mean its stupid.. why do people spend 1000's on computers in this forum?

Same thing with everything

No one is whining. Just saying that there is no way that bed is worth anywhere near the £5k odd. It's a slatted base with some turquoise material on the sides, how is that luxury?

I think what something is 'worth' is entirely subjective and the price can only be deemed reasonable/unreasonable by the person interested in buying it...

Dream, designed by Marcel Wanders. To simply call it a bed does not do it justice. It is a system that actually furnishes the resting area in an original and personalized way. A series of panels combine to create a headboard that can be customized in different fabrics and colors. The bed has an upholstered structure, using the fabric of choice. The night table transforms from a unique storage container into a pouf simply by just turning the cover

There you go then, well worth it.

I have just received an incredible email from an eBay user who claims I only sent half of what was offered.

Listing title: TM Lewin Suit Jacket - Navy Blue

In my description I clearly stated it was a suit jacket and in the details section I put 'Not Applicable' in the trouser size section.

I thought that was pretty easy to understand - it's a Suit Jacket - a Jacket from a Suit.

Anyway. User messages me today in typical keyboard warrior style saying how I have only sent the jacket and not the pants, threatening to report me to eBay if I don't send them by special delivery.

I am astonished. I kindly point out that it clearly says it's a suit jacket only - not a full suit. She's having none of it. Stupid cow.

It would be funnier if eBay didn't side with her when she reports it, but they probably will.

I will fume to high heaven if they do. It infuriates me how they assume the seller is correct in every case - it's almost as if there is no consequence for being a stupid bint.

Just withdraw your cash and make sure you have no DDs setup with paypal.

There's little ebay can do.

She's bought an item from you 2nd hand. There's no warranty. "let the buyer beware" is how the law will treat it.So long as you didn't misrepresent the item of course.

How do I stop this from happening?
I'm fed up of everything I look at ending up in my email.

So if you ask her the question "what made you think it was a full suit"
her response will probably be along the lines of "it says so in the auction"
just respond with "where, show me"

I am glad I don't do much selling on ebay, I don't think it is as bad as some of you lot make out, it's just the real muppets get stories tood about them which makes it sound worse than what it is. I have only had positive experience selling on ebay for the few items I sold :)

eBay is convenient. It basically allows you to advertise stuff you have for sale to a much wider audience that a local classified website would for example. I have recently realised just how extortionate their seller fees are though.

I have just been suspended from eBay and they have requested a copy of a bank statement and a scan of my passport/driving license. What a ball ache.

I know what it will be - I listed something on there but when it came round to selling it I realised I no longer had it. I explained to the buyer and all seemed fine as no cash had changed hands.

Argh!
