If you include time travel they can do it this way.

2 Females goto the island by the boat with a time travel device, then activite it. they then pass in time to the place where the boat was made then they tell the people making it to let 2 males and 2 females. However this will cause a time loop, so the 2 women cant return to their normal timeline so they must stay there and there daughters must make the trip with the 2 males to the island.
