It was originally independent of Serbia. In fact, Serbia used to be part of Dardania. So the Serbs have no justification for denying independence to Kosovo.

Kosovo was part of Serbia until the Ottomans took it from them. Dardania was what? pre-Roman times? Basically a bit of land controlled by a tribe, not a nation.
There wouldn't be any muslims in Kosovo if it weren't for the Ottomans.
The KLA killed many innocent people, as did the Croats as did the Bosnians. Don't let the western media fool you, the Serbs are not as bad as they are portrayed.

Dardania pre-dated the Romans, yes. But it existed as an independent state with its own monarchy. It was not merely "a bit of land controlled by a tribe"; it was a recognised kingdom with its own culture, civilisation and major cities.
Despite a wave of invasions, Dardania continued to exist as an independent entity until its absorption into the Serbian Empire during the 14th Century. Nevertheless, it was still known as Dardania right up to the 19th Century, and its people continued to rebel against foreign rule. To deny Kosovo independence is to deny history.

Neither. NATO intervened to force Serbian compliance with the peace process and bring an end to the Serbian genocide campaign. It did not intervene to promote, enable or guarantee Kosovan independence.

Kosovo has successfully claimed independence from Serbia.
The Kosovars will be in charge of Kosovo; the Serbs will be in charge of Serbia.

If the KLA are Albanian, why aren't they in Albania? Don't get me wrong, the genocide of Albanians in Kosovo was wrong, but remember that it was the KLA who started the civil war there, and now they've got what they wanted. Once NATO went in we should have helped the Albanians go back to their homeland and left Serbia for the Serbs.
