LOLFacebook! Anyone bored already?

I have more pressing issues than you OP, such as:

Smash her pasty in.

Pancake.

Very boring and I cringe every time someone dares to post one of these 'witty comments'.

If this is the only humour OCUK forums can come up with then you might as well place a loaded gun into your mouth and pull the trigger, it is a family friendly forum but come on.

Try harder.
 
It's the repetitive banality and lack of original thought which frustrates most of us. I know I've been guilty of joining in the fun in the past, and I'm bound to in the future. However, there seems to be many members who are unable to grasp when something's become tired and clichéd to the point of unbearable monotony. The pasty meme, as an example, is still hilarious but it loses its edge when every other poster without the ability to think of something original spams it in a vain attempt to look popular.

The current 'meme' which really grates me is the current spate of 'Worst [xyz] ever!'. As posters are just spamming the damn line to any and every variable in the hope that someone will find it funny. The reality is, when it's well-timed, that joke was amusing. Just posting it in a lazy +1 response isn't, nor does it count as a contribution to the thread.

Mods, if you are to give infractions for any 'meme', please do so for the 'worst [xyz] ever'. It's tiresome and has gotten to the point I'm struggling to get a few posts into topics anymore as they've become far too predictable and dull. It was probably funny once, now it's just utterly tedious.

Calm your chewbacca, it's only a bit of GD. Skim a post if you don't like it, better yet, just imagine it never existed....or imagine its owner naked or something.

Probably not the last thing, not for everyone anyway.
 
I would never create a spec me thread! Although I think I have done, maybe once, when I first started on this forum and wanted to be in with the cool kids, then like everything popular and "in" I grew to hate it :)

Ten internets points to anyone that can find a post by me that has "spec me" in the title so I can die a little inside
