What can we do to tackle this issue, it seems that certain areas and certain groups are spilling over pr boiling over and causing levels of violence and lawlessness that we do not want to see on the streets.

While we all lambast the Americans for lack of gun control in one thread, we barely have control of our capital...

I for one am glad I dont live in London.

I can't find anything in the news about the stabbing in Norwood.

I would also caution it's to do with how these things are reported. Knife crime is an issue here, but I would hardly describe it as an "epidemic".

Meh. Gangs and drugs. It is what it is. 35 years ago i lived on Lenton Boulevard for a year in Nottingham and there was three murders on that street that year. One a stabbing over drugs, one a couple of teenagers who caved an elderly mans head in after he told them off for queue jumping in the chip shop and another who chopped his girlfriend up into little pieces and hid her under the floorboards in the flat.

shock horror there are lots of not so nice places to live in the UK.

If you Google the headline then several...very very odd sources come up. The video was only posted 7 minutes ago too.

Op, are you hooked into some weird news feed reader?

Posting for posterity and any future deletion or amendment.

It looks like the Daily Mail (superficial CAPS WILL give YOU a CLUE) but doesn't seem to be on their main page. I wonder why.

Need to distract the sheeple from the government failings.

First the urban youths then a shiny boat, what next, some Muzzies?

Oh, it is the Daily Mail. You can tell from:

a] the caps
b] the serif font in the pictures
c] the sensationalist tone and language
d] the fact that it's hard to verify the information anywhere else

Note: d] does not mean that the information isn't true, purely that the DM has hard-dredged the fact-swamp to pull out the most obscure truths currently available so that they can mash them all into one gaudy headline.

Two of those are over 48 hours old. And only one references Brixton, Greenwich or Norwood. When was this "one night" of bloodshed?

As I say, it does not mean that these stabbings did not happen, purely that the DM has tried very hard to make a sensationalist headline. As normal. And this paints an unrepresentative picture of the real situation.

OK, so so far we've concluded that London is a hangout for violent blacks and Muslims who regularly stab people. Not only this, but the residents of London deserve it because of the avarice of a few politicians and bankers.

Great stuff, OCUK.

You know what would stop this death and pressure on the NHS?

Lockdown.

Another one would be beneficial. And I would hope we do see another before the end of the year.
