I followed someones earlier suggestion to install Ubuntu or Linux with the hope I can use it to download Windows 8 straight the the hard drive.

How would you suggest I format the Hardrive? Via BIOS or something?

I don't know, it just worked for once. Download used to freeze when it got to "Install Updates" this time it downloaded and booted perfectly.

Just my luck im going on hols for a week in a matter of minutes lol.
