Longest serving component in your current main machine?

Was one of my pioneer dvd drives until last week when I sold them to replace them with sata. Now its probably an akasa amber fan or a seagate harddrive :p

X-Fi Elite Pro (@ launch), or my monitor. Can't remember which off hand but iirc they where only a few months apart. Rest of it is new since April this year onwards.

But my old rig is alive and kicking over at my sister's.

nothing in my new rig is old...

however, had a 13gb HDD seagate for about 5 years, in various machines.. its still going in a pc i made for next doors kids, so now it must be about 7 years old and still going. makes quite a racket mind... lol

My 754 AMD board and 3400+ cpu. Also my ram which is in another machine but still going strong after 3 years. :)

CD-RW lasted me for about 6 years, i cant be arsed forking out for a new one so i just use this, does me even though if i use anything else than Videolan for DVD's they stutter.

all internals less than 4 months old so the oldest thing related to my pc is the monitor wich is touching a year old, and that will be gone at crimbo for a new 22"

psu which was in a dell pc for 5 years, then lighting hit the phone cable taking the dell pc out blowing the mobo, then i had it in this build just over year.
was a big risk 2 take using that psu but its seems fine :D

My SB Live!, can't remember how old it is but damn it's old, pity I'll have to dump it if I ever move over to Vista :(

Nit exactly in my machine but for me its my epson DX3800 all in one printer scanner.

Actually in my machine it would be a Samsung 250Gb hard drive but even thats only 9 or 10 months old

The youngest component is my RAM that i got when it was on special last week

My Geil Value RAM - 2.5 years old. Up until about 3 months ago I had an 8gb Fujitsu HDD from '98 iirc, performing basic back up duties.
