I joined just after the nuke (had been reading previously). I was 15 at the time and I sometimes cringe when I look back at my old posts.

I guess you could say I've grown up with these forums :)

I started back in 2000, but there was the big nuke and I was too busy skydiving- by the time I came back I was Freefaller2001 (having qualified in that year) - but dropped the number as I thought it was daft. Then 6 months after joining I somehow made it onto the mod team, as a UB, then a Don, clocked up 60k posts, made a man of honour when I stepped down, then joined the mod team again! Seen so many changes and met so many people over the years. It's been a fantastic 6+ years I must say. :)

I joined pre-nuke, been here since 2001, feel like i'm on here a lot. But only have a couple of thousand posts.. I have no idea how some people rack up thousands and thousands of posts? Always wondered that.

I was here pre-nuke but didn't visit daily like I do now, not sure when this account was registered but it'll tell me over to the left once I post this :p

I joined before what they now call the 'pre nuke'. I didn't register back again, I was too busy with other stuff at the time, didn't even know they'd nuked the place until I attempted to login again....

been a lurker, member etc for years..... I like to think I've now grown up somewhat since my first posts - I somehow doubt that....!! lol

Originally joined waaay back...then stopped coming here. When i came back i had to recreate my account so i guess it was one of the ones "nuked"

I wonder, was that an intentional nuke, or was there some kind of migration that *ahem* helped the decision making process ?

I am a Pre nuke kinda guy and Signed up the day after the system was live (just after the nuke, in fact i believe there has been 2 nukes in my time here).

1999 for me using my 56k dialup modem i purchased from the MM :D

My god the nostalga from the web archive is making me cry :D

I wasn't around for it but if you mean the 2002 nuke then I believe it was because the database had become too corrupted and the only real solution was to start afresh. If I'm wrong I'm sure someone will correct me though.

I remember coming to this forum in 2003 and browsing but did not bother to make an account as i considered it to much hassle lol
