Longest you have gone without SLEEP

About 3 days finishing my Masters dissertation.....

*MUST LEARN TO PLAN TIME BETTER*.

Thank god i dont have to ever do exams again....

I go for a quite few days without sleep easily.

I used to suffer really badly from insomnia :( a couple of time I got the point that I would collapse from exhaustion before I could finally get to sleep.!

I've done an entire weekend before, just for the hell of it, and it seems there are plans for an all weekend party to celebrate someones birthday during the weekend with March 11 in it, so I should be attempting it again soon. :D

Not sure I'll manage it as well as I did before, as last time I wasn't drinking heavily :p

Hmm, more than 80 hours, less than 90, can't remember exactly, the end of the period isn't exactly crystal clear anymore :D

3 days, then I more or less died. It sucked, my limbs felt like lead, and my eyes were constantly stinging. I done it for a laugh, not because I had any reason to.

I don't need much sleep normally, only about 4 hours a night, so I thought it would be a piece of cake. Its not.

My record (if you want to call it that) without any assistance whatsoever was 5 - 6 days
while working in an autistic care home, I had chronic insomnia and we were crazy understaffed so I worked about 70 hours in less than four days. Didn't leave my workplace for a couple of those, about the only thing that kept me going during that was smoking.

can I spell nightmare?

44 hours for an angineering coursework the night befor it had to be handed in. I eventually failed the module 34% but realsied i should have used the full 10 weeks i could have, not just one night.

During the summer Holidays I had trouble sleeping. I think the longest I stayed up was 3 full days and went to sleep on the fourth one at night. It felt horrible!

2 to 3 days i remember at one point.

I used suffer severe insomnia from a kid but by changing a few habits and coming to terms with the fact that I’m not a sleeper has actually made me sleep better.

I still get occasions were I only get 3 hours sleep for a few nights running but I accept it now rather than getting al frustrated which makes it worse. I keep a notebook with me all the time helps. All the things I have to do and remind myself go in the diary. That way, it closure on the day.

You have to remind yourself that it isn’t the quantity of sleep it’s the quality of sleep.

I usually draw the line when I begin to hallucinate :D

I hit that point after about 60 hours. Never gone beyond about 75. Wouldn't want to either. It's dangerous.

Done a few 36-40 hours sessions. 2-3 while at uni finishing off cousework, friend of mine even stayed up with me once to make me cups of tea and keep me awake! I then returned the favor next week.

Also did a 36+ hour EQ session while raiding a few diffrent places, people would log in and join the raid, log out, sleep log in again the next day and a few of us were still there :-/

I think the longest I've ever tried was after exams last year, with my mates we started watching all three extended editions of the lord of the rings. They last 12 and a half hours without breaks. This was starting at about 9 - 10 pm after being up for 12 hours already. Then lasted till the early afternoon. I think that makes 29 - 30 hours.

We are planning to do it again this year.

Probably about 50-60 hours, pumped up on coffee and pro-plus. I was hallucinating all over the place by the end of it, and then I was up all night chucking up. I'm not sure whether this was induced by caffeine overdose or if it was because I was just getting ill.

I can't go without sleep easily at all. Only ever stayed up the whole night on the last night of reading festival. Was probably only about 24 hours in total.

Reading festival probably takes the prize for least sleep in one long period, for me! The first couple of times I was there early on Thursday until early on Monday, so around 96 hours total. I reckon I got a total of 8-10 hours sleep for the whole thing.
