Longevity of 7970 xfire

Extreme quality, 1440p you'd think you'd be gpu limited but no was seeing gpu usage drops as i was driving around the city. Bump my i7 up to 4.5ghz and now seeing 99% usage constant, with vsync on.

Very true. The higher the resolution, the more CPU grunt is needed (more than I thought). 4.6 seems to be the best for me at 5960x1080 but anything under can see GPU usages dropping.
