The line up of games this year is amazing, for all platforms put together it is astonishing. I think its fair to say that 360 edges out ahead this winter. I'm willing to bet the average score for 360 games is higher than ps3 games.

But the PS3 came out a year later, by the time it had 22 games (around 15 of which were already on the 360) the 360 would have had well over 100 titles. So your argument kind of falls flat on its face, really.

Both are good consoles but right now the 360 has the advantage when it comes to games, in both number and quality titles. This might change, although I hope not (yet) I don't have a spare £350 atm

Im just saying I own a 360 as well, im not a fanboy, just have a preference!

This is living - This is waiting more like. You say you have both consoles, if theortically you really want assassins creed, but it gets delayed a month on the ps3, would you wait for the ps3 version?

Also just because you have a 360 doesnt mean your a fanboy, you clearly are not a gamer.

We get the same old 'the PS3 gets picked on' comments here all the time and quite frankly its utter tosh, all of the consoles get bashed here as much as each other because people have different opinions and tastes, thats how the world works. At least some try to back up their claims rather than just spouting nonsense.

If you buy a console you buy them for the games not because your in love with MS, Sony or Nintendo. Anyone who argues about their console being better then someone elses is just insecure and are just trying to justify their purchase IMO

If you enjoy games on your PS3 and someone else enjoys their games on their 360 whats the problem with that? No need to start flamewars and arguements, its quite pathetic really :/

Mate tbh...i aint really understood much of what youve been saying. What non-sense? What the links? Ive just given my opinion on a few things, hardly was making up statistics etc. And thats the thing, all the consoles dont get bashed...this thread kinda proves that...360 bashing is undercontrol.

Im just trying to put my opinion across, because thats what forums are for. Clearly upset some people tho.

Yea i totally agree...and i own both consoles...but i only posted this thread because id seen seriously, about 10 times in the past week: "PS3 ITZ POOOOOO ITS GOT NO GAMMEZZZZZZZ!" So i reply with 2 links showing that the ps3 had more launch titles and all hell brakes lose :rolleyes:

thats because to be as nice as possible your making a really stupid argument. Unless someone is somehow living simultaneously in December 2006 and March 2007 they won't give a flying fig what titles were available at launch. Oh god i feel dirty for giving you a serious reply.

Launch titles don't matter, the PS3 has been out for a while now, I'm speaking about the US launch since the EU delay would've had no impact on game development.
