Its peoples opinion which they are entitled to as you are entitled to yours, but this thread isnt your opinion it was made to start yet another arguement. OCUK does have a decent ignore function which you could use if you dont like reading those sorts of comments.

Also 75% of the PS3 launch titles were developed for the 360 and then ported over to the PS3 so im failing to see what exactly those links prove? :confused:

Im not starting an argument, im starting a thread in response to an 'opinion' based comment. It wasnt aimed to be a trouble maker, it was a response, or a reply as the forum button calls it.

And what do you mean? Because its a port its doesnt count as a game? :confused:

He's pointing out that nearly every decent PS3 game so far has been on 360 too. This, coupled with the fact that the 360 has a far larger catalogue of widely recognised quality exclusives, makes it basically fact that the PS3 is lacking games compared to the competition.

Yea but the 360 has been out a year longer! If you look at the exclusives titles that will be out for Playstation in year, there are loads!

So you admit that right now, there is a shortage of games? That is all anyone's ever said, thee is no doubting there are going to be some good exclusives in the future but at the moment it would be stupid to claim that it isn't lacking in games compared to its competitors.

You are getting confused about what people are saying. It's not a matter of which console has been out longer, the PS3 simply doesn't have as many games right now and that's a fact.

My opinion is that my 360 craps all over my PS3 simply because it has games and because I prefer Xbox Live over the PSN, but I wont complain about the PSN since its free.

Why is it everyone assumes that the 360 wont have any games next year? the mind boggles when I keep seeing 'but next year is the ps3s year, so many games coming' so what MS will stop making games? errrrrrrrm :confused:

Is it just blind optimism or what? I for one was chuffed when MS showed off so many games at E3 and said 'you can play all but 1 this year.'

Doesn't mean that next year there wont be any games out lol.

Thats not what the thread is about though. You cant compare games catalogues when one console is in early development and a year behind?

Edit: and im not saying the 360 wont have any games, thinking like that is a little stupid tbh. Just saying there wont be a lack of ps3 gam33zzzzzzzzZ!!!1

Oh yeah Fable 2 and Alan Wake next year, that's already 2 kick ass exclusives. :cool:

Of course you can, I compared the Xbox and PS2. They are competing consoles and as such, are comparable.

The PS3 is not a year behind it was late because Sony couldnt get them manufactured quick enough. The games would have been in development atleast 2 years before the Xbox 360 launched and since the PS3 was late the developers had an extra year to work on them a great example of this is Oblivion.

When they were both recent consoles, you see I said 'compared' which is in the past tense. :rolleyes:

The Xbox came out after the PS2 and it was perfectly fair to compare them, now the roles have switched it's still fair.
