I've noticed my son gets a few odd looks etc from security guards (long hair greb, his words not mine) but it all depends on the way he walks around. Typical slouch/mooch he gets eyed, if he walks around confidently especially with a basket no one even looks twice.

i must have looked dodgy as **** and as if i had a bomb strapped to me, i got searched at belfast international and got my luggage thouroughly searched. worst of it was it was a school trip ffs

Enough with the chav pictures! I’m not going to post a picture, because I’d probably be photoshoped to look like a chav stealing CDs, but for the record I look reasonably respectable. The only time I wear a cap is when I’m playing golf, and its not burberry, I don’t wear gloves, my jeans fit and my hair is not that long.

another tip is not to wear gloves especially in summer

i wear my jeans round my knees and a hoody, usually with sleeves rolled up, and i slouch when i walk and sometimes i walk into stores just for a wander.

but i have never been followed or looked at twice by a security guard

well, once, but that was when i was young and he had reason to

I get this all the time as well. Its really annoying and makes me self conscious so that i then start trying not to look dodgy, which then makes me look even more dodgy . I wear black combats and a white t-shirt and then if its cold a fleece, not really your average chav.

I was once walked in a small shop to grab a bottle of Oasis and as I walked passed the queue to the till an old lady suddenly grabbed onto her handbag asif it was going to save her life

Nothing dodgy looking about me, hell I was in work clothes!
