The 1.9 came in loads of different flavours and some of them are hilariously slow. The more powerful ones are ok though.

I just did a quick check on the one I saw it was a match version or something, it was poor performance wise I think it was 100BHP and just 150ft-lbs of torque, I’ll see if I can find one of the better models haha

you need something with a turbo and possibly 4wd ie a subaru wrx/sti for example..

in all fairness when you at the right revs and gear you can feel the pull, i feel the pull in my 1.6 pug 2008 if im in 2nd at 30ish and put my foot down(entering a 70), i can even get the front wheel off the ground feeling doing it on a bend, thats obviously how i have drove, but either way you want drivers feel and seat pulling you need a turbo.
