I would say depends what size you are looking at. I bought a 128gb SSD just before xmas and am replacing it because it just not big enough and thats with my games and stuff installed on a 150gb raptor with ssd acceleration. I'm constantly trying to free up room on it and it runs with about 3-4gb free. Bought a 256gb Samsung 840 today to replace it.

for me 256gb is about right, anything smaller just fills up to quick, and if your caching another drive as well you need more space etc
with the prices coming down, i'd go for as big as you can, a few weeks back the 500gb samsungs were a great price as well, i got 2 256gb adata ones for £145 each bargin, wish i'd bought more tbh
