Hi im looking to upgrade either my mouse or keyboard or maybe both depending on price this black friday. I currently have a corsair harpoon wireless mouse and a royal kludge r61 keyboard both about 2 maybe 3 years old. Id like suggesting of which you think should be upgraded or if i should stick with what ive got.

that 60% keyboard is too small for what i need and i think its a knock off anyway judging by the name it shows up as on my pc and the most has started to cause cramps and i doint even play for long periods of time maybe and hour or 2.
What is the name that it comes up with in BIOS?

Royyal Klvdge?

The review says that you might need a wrist rest

Yeah I doest say royal kludge when I go to settings. Can't remember what it says because I'm at work but I can look after. I don't mind it without the wrist rest but 60% just isn't for me

Yeah 60% is too small for even me.

I need arrow keys for word documents.

65% is my sweet spot and anything smaller is just too small.

My Nuphy Halo 65 is perfect in many many ways apart from being ANSI and not UK ISO.

Yeah it's just little thing I didn't think about like the function keys or putting a slash where I have to awkwardly press function and it makes like easier with being a tkl instead of 60%

How about a Ducky one 3 TKL? Im thinking of buying one myself and there are lot sof people on these forums who have them and love them.

My basket at OcUK:

Total: £139.99 (includes delivery: £0.00)

Just hav eto look into what type of switch is best for your use case eg gaming or typing etc
Ducky keyboards I remember being really popular a few years ago but I've never looked into them

Worth a read

Yeah I've heard good things. What switches would you recommend I've ahd brown before but I've left univeristy now so probably won't be doing tonnes and tonnes of typing.

I'm seeing either cherry mx silver or red or the baby kangaroos come up. Is there one you'd recommend?

I have a

Corsair K70 RGB TKL CHAMPION SERIES Tenkeyless Mechanical Wired Gaming Keyboard - Cherry MX Red Switches - PBT Double-Shot Keycaps - iCUE Compatible - QWERTY UK Layout - Black

Which is great. I work on a laptop or my own desktop and use a cheap switch to change wired mouse and keyboard. I develop so do a fair bit of typing. Not really a fan of RGB but lit keys are good.

Yeah I've had corsair products before but I don't get along well with the icue software and the products have been hit or miss for me

Im looking at the baby kangas as they are good for gaming and typing from what I have read and have a tactile feeling when used which I dont have from my cherry reds on my current keyboard.

Yeah or I say screw it and get a custom keyboard. The only one that does mx silver is the rgb version which I didn't really want but it's definitely between those 3 switches.

it says krux neo in my device settings

Yeah I’m pretty sure that you didn’t get a Royal Kludge then.

The Krux Neo is a cheap import that looks a bit like the Royal Kludge.
Yeah that's makes sense with all the other things that were a bit off at the start. But it's been solid even with coke being spilt all over it. Stopped working for 2 days then when back to like it never happened.
