Thats a really good price for that camera, second hand I presume? Is it the 24-105mm L kit lens as if it is then you got yourself a real bargain! Enjoy

A 5D Mk II with a lens (which lens?) for £1100...

A 5D original witha fairly basic (50mm f1.4) would go for about that.

I am getting it brand new with Canon EF-S - Zoom Lens - 17 mm - 85 mm - f / 4.0-5.6 IS USM thrown in..looking foward to it..

EF-S lens wont work on a 5D Mark II, and you certainly cant get one for that price!!

That lens won't fit on the 5D, so that can't be right.

Are you sure you are not getting the 500D, or even the 50D? :confused:

50D would make a lot more sense than a 5D MkII at that price with that lens

the 17-85 is the 50D kit lens is it not? So that would make sense.

I thought it would be that lens but will see on saturday..and yes it is Canon MII Model..I just assumed that would be the lens I would be getting.., as I am not getting it as a kit but seperately,new.

Are you sure it isn't the lens that's the Mk II, you aren't getting a 5D MkII new for sub £1000, £1900 is the going rate.

you claim to be getting a brand new camera for half the price that it is anywhere else..

can you get me one at that price ?
