looking foward to tomorrow!

I am amazed the bass sounds good with them set up like that, I really am. That close to the back and side "walls" has to be asking for crowded, boomy bass, no?

If its where they *have* to be then fine, but put them out 1m from the back wall and 2m apart and sit and listen to them before putting them back to how they are now and see what the difference is like - you might be suprised :)

its certainly not too bad as its not overwhelming. i guess the front firing ports help. they have with some bungs supplied with them, so i will be testing them with /without over the weekend.

unfortunately that is the only positioning for the speakers. the joys of a london flat! :)

You may find that once they have been run in and the sound fully develops they will sound more boomy. I would certainly expect them to lose a bit of their definition positioned like that.

finally got it all setup. a lot of rewiring required!

still waiting for it to be fully run in, but already sounds great. the most obvious change is that the speakers have much more depth to the bass, other than that there is an improvement in detail but more importantly i just find myself listening to loads of music as it just sounds right! :)

Oh my god... awesome looking setup, particularly for just that small-looking room!!
