... but at the end of the day it's a dog, not a family member. If you really need to fly home just to tell your wife it's dead then I think she's anthropomorphised it a bit too much. Awesome to hear she's recovering well from cancer though, I've lost a few people I know from it and it's a horrible thing.What? I ... Huh?

There's quite a few peeps taking the **** in this thread. Now if their brand new i5-2500k etc died it would bother them more than an innocent animal being killed. What is the world coming to?
To a great many dog owners a dog does become a member of the family.That sucks and I'm really sorry... but at the end of the day it's a dog, not a family member.
