Does anyone know if they are still planning on ending the series in 2010? I hope they do, I love Lost but it's got to the point where all the mystery is getting boring and I just want answers!

I'm quite annoyed tho why there only doing 17 episodes seasons now, I can understand they had to do that last season because of the writers strike, but theres NO need to at all for this season and next.

The whole point of cutting the number of episodes was to make it more exciting. Now we'll get more content per episodes, more questions answered and most importantly, the final episode (and hopefully an explanation!) is that little bit closer.

Did you not notice it beginning to get a bit dull during the end of season 2/beginning of season 3 before the writers decided to cut the number of eps?

Question: I've not watched Lost since the first few episodes of season 2 - really thought it wasn't very good. Is it worth catching up? Does it get good again (like season 1)?!

IMO yes, the series began to suffer in the middle of season 2 till the middle of season 3 but then the writers re jigged their ideas (shortened the series down to half the number of originally intended eps) and it got exciting again.

Ive only watched LOST up to season 2, can someone tell me if season 5 is the final one?
Im just curious cause i would like to oneday when release buy the whole series in a nice big boxset

There's at least one more series...possibly 2 but I think as mentioned above I heard something about it finishing in 2010 (which would mean just one more series).

Season 6 will be the last series, aired at the end of 2009 and finishing in early 2010. The writers have promised there WILL be a conclusion and they will explain what the hell is going on.

If they don't i'll get stabby

It is the best thing on tv in my opinion,

I think when it ends I will be kind of sad but on the other hand they really do need to come to a conclusion at some point

I am a huge LOST fan. I didn't start watching until last year, but after watching the first one, I watched every other back to back :cool:

I don't think it's as confusing as some people make out, but yes they do take seasons to answer some questions.

I agree with the part about it not being really confusing. I can never understand why people quit watching it or say they don't understand, if you follow the seasons the plot isn't really hard to grasp, there are questions but in general the show is easy to follow and undertand in my opinion.
