Lost: The Game

Judging on what has been posted here I will give this a miss. It is a pity though as the Lost story and setting is perfect for an adventure game. I see there are no reviews out which is almost always a guarantee that a game is poor.

Played the PC version for about 20 mins, and came *this* close to just uninstalling it and playing frisbee with the disc. The controls truly are diabolical, especially when trying to take photographs....about as intuitive as a lobotomised Forrest Gump. Will give it another try though before I truly decide.

just got this in the post today

For a lost nut like myself its mildy amusing, I do suggest that you stay well clear if your not remotely interested though

My main problem is that thing's move way to fast

SPOILERS

Within 5 mins of playing time I was being chased by black some and after 20 mins had met the others (ben and juiliet) And after 1 hour the hatch has been blown open

I fear that the game may be nearly over coming way short of it's supposed 6 hours playtime

Played for 10 minutes, uninstalled it.

Even on PC the load times are horrendous, one thing Crysis did impress me with was the load times, it must load about 100% faster than Lost despite having bigger levels and detail.

come on, my 360 the load times are minimal, not defending the game but that's just not true for the console versions at least

Rented it yesterday and finished it last night. Not a terrible game at all and easy achievement points, got 905 on first play through. Might get the rest today. Very easy game and worth a rental, nothing more.

It starts of very bad but does get more entertaining as the game goes on.

Don't tell me you actually bought the game? I rented if for the easy achievement points. Rented it Friday evening and had 1000 points by Saturday tea time and took it back to BB. Definitely worth renting for the points.

I have to say though, if you forget that its loosely based on the TV it isn't a terrible game at all, but not great of course. Some elements of the game I actually quite liked. The photography and flashbacks were quite good.

I bought the game but I'm planning on selling it. I don't think its as bad as people made out to be honest... although the voice acting is pretty bad

Naa I didn't buy it, my mate completed it on Saturday so he lent the game to me. Truly terrible imo.

would it be any good to someone who's never seen the tv programme for the points?

Rent it. Only for the easy points. The game covers Lost from the start and there aren't really any points where you need a deep knowledge of the show to progress.

Thought the game was alright, but as stated, the voice acting was terrible. Especially Sayid.

Just completed it 1000/1000 - I didnt understand the ending though :( Could someone explain or something? I cant imagine anyone caring about "MWASSIVE SPOILERZ"
