Ah I think that info was added after I first read the article, somewhat odd. reporting.
http://www.mirror.co.uk/news/uk-news/ian-h-watkins-steps-threatens-2947580
The bloke from steps is threatening to sue Google now.
How dare his name appear next to someone else with the same name......
Is the slush fund a tad low "H"?
It says in the link below it...
Oh dear.
To be quite honest, given that it already happened online, and the depravity of the crimes involved, news agencies should have been taking clear notice it didn't happen again.
I would feel bloody awful if that was my name, and my picture got posted, given the torrents of abuse he got on twitter after the first time the picture was incorrectly posted.
How much luck would I have suing Google if my name was Ian Watkins and I got abuse?
I find it ridiculous. I see your point, but suing Google is purely to get money.
Who should he sue then?
The man has been wrongly associated with some of the most vile crimes in modern history.
How about the perpetrator?
So google then.
No. The chappy who committed the crimes in the first place.
