Lotus E21 2013 car launch

Lotus E21 is launched tonight at 7.15pm. Coverage is on the Lotus Youtube channel which is here - http://www.youtube.com/user/lrgptv and also on Sky Sports News channel.

Glad we finally get to see some cars!

I can see the Lotus car looking very standard to be honest with it being rather similar to last year just without the stepped nose. But we shall see!

With the minimal rule changes this is going to pretty much be the case for all the teams.

The only area I'm expecting any real development in is the resurgence of EBD's using the coanda effect. So expect some highly complex stuff going on around the exhaust exits, and then expect that to be either covered up or not even on the cars at launch

Basically, expect a bunch of 2012 cars with nose jobs

Which SSN channel is it on? Looking on the App on my phone it doesn;t list anything about an F1 car unveiling for channel 405 (SSNHD)

Do 2013 regs state the lower tub height or is it 2014? I seem to recall the lower tub height reg being dropped for 2013 but i'm not 100%

I don't think we'll see many teams lowering the tub to remove the step this year if it's not regulated, they'll stick with what they know and focus on doing it for the 2014 car.

But we pay for a dedicated f1 channel, you would think it would be on their and not just constrained to news that won't have time for analysis or anything else.

No need to visit their site, just use the direct Youtube channel - http://www.youtube.com/user/lrgptv. Ideal for launches as it generally copes much better.
