He has a partial point. Its the rate of immigration that's the problem. Too many people in a small island. We need the Australian model to let people in.

The Australian model being a points based system? If so then we've got that (or at least a version of a points based system) but it is irrelevant for EU citizens due to free movement. In terms of population density overall we're not that badly off as I recall unless the figures have changed since I last looked but the issue may be in terms of population spread.

It's WAY more strict than what we currently have. Being out of the EU we could set our own rules for admitting those that aren't here to milk the system and want to work and integrate.

Having a standard of spoken english would be a start. If I went to live in another country I'd try to learn the language.

Fair enough. You can't just say that no one who doesn't speak any form of English can't come to England, though. The best way to learn is to be here. I'm sure there a few people from Ireland, Scotland, and Wales, who wouldn't meet this criteria.

My point is that realistically, I'm not sure you can do that properly.
