Low 80s too hot?

Well the guy in the installation video I watched on YouTube used extension cables so I’ve ordered some. Comes with 1x 24pin ATX, 2x 4+4 pin EPS & 3x 6+2 pin PCI-E.

£20.24 ex VAT delivered.

Received my PSU extension cables today, they look decent quality...

In the product description it says "The cable specification is 16AWG pure copper tinned wire, which is thicker than other brands of wire and has stable overcurrent, compatible with all power supplies."

I put an ordinary desktop fan at the front of the case blowing in at full pelt with the side panel on and it reached a maximum temp of 67C but mostly under 60C. So shows what can be achieved when you have the right air flow.
Just put the system together with new case, my cable management skills aren't the best but I ran BF2042 and the highest temp I saw was 67C but mostly low 50s, ran Cinebench R23 and got a max temp of 60C, it was 63C in old case.

So definitely a massive improvement in air flow, I didn't need to use the 24pin extension cable or the 8 pin EPS one but need the PCIe extension cables, also needed 2x 8pin connectors as I tried with 1x 8 pin and 1 x 6 pin but it wouldn't POST.

Also using the front panel headphone jack as the one on the IO shield doesn't appear to be working.
