Low fps in games

do you have 1600 G.Skill at 1.9v and if so is windows reporting it at 1.3Ghz instead of 1.6Ghz.

also do you get post boot errors for VGA bios?

Off topic

Windows has always reported what i have set it to, no issues there at all

Had some issues with it stopping at VGA bios but this has usually been unstable overclock attempts (I.E me trying for 4.5/4.6ghz!)

My stable overclock (in sig) boots first time every time fine mate.

back on topic CSS is a very CPU dependant game and again E6600 is not the best cpu, granted def not the worst to have in your build either!

I bench the CSS Stress test at 700fps+ but in game myself (say in a 10 man match/pub) I will be between 250-500fps just dependant on the area of the map, players etc.

He certainly is not getting 300fps in game!

Hmm Other than that V-sync thingie majigi (if its like wow caps you at 60fps) i'd presume that you may need to right click your shortcut in vista and check the compatability mode (set it to xp) additionally disabling the aero (stupid moving desktop in vista) feature helps ( / google it).
That all said i thought the 7xxx series had some serious issues with just about everything, i allways had problems with it, that said i only get about 3-25fps in wow and thats on a 8800gtx. But hey i dont care. (*e**ing blizzard patches)

You probably will get 300-400 fps if your playing Track Mania Nations. I get about 80 from my work onboard vga socket.

On my old PC Im getting just under a 100fps with low settings on a AMD X2 3000 and ATI X700 Pro and best res setting for my 19inch screen.
