Just asked a question to get told its faster with no reason when, Doing My Own Research, didn't come up with the answer I was given by Ghengis about AMD changed their range designations.

really tempted by this as I'm looking to upgrade a 3yr+ old 2900pro 1gb, was looking at a 6870 for £170(compatitor so can't name) but this will save me £45 and I can overclock this to overcome the difference in performance(tho the 6870 can be overcloclocked think the money saved would swing it to this card).
I have a 24inch 1920 x 1200 monitor so need a card that can handel that res, looking at the gtx570/6970 but holding off on one of those for the new build I'm planning after sand bridge is out.
only problem is I don't have a job and my car insurance is up for renewal next month and will be £500+(£100+ cheaper if I had a job looking at the comparison websites)
p.s. have a q6600 @ 3ghz, also have q9450 which I'm currently not using(will put it in place of the q6600 when I come to dust out the pc and change the water cooling liquid).
