Lowest Temperature 4.2Ghz overclocked

Ah, you have the same batch as bulldog, not as me. Oh well.

It's not quite a clear one I'm after anymore, rather lost faith in plexi as a sensible material to use. I'll give you a shout though

I had now managed to find a stable 4.2Ghz overclocked with lowest temperature after spend almost 3 hours to get the right setting in the bios to finally stable as it still ongoing full load using prime95 blend testing.

Watch this space ! :)

You got msn mate?

But it seems that Prime95 has only just started, Realtemp might have been running for 1hr 43, but without varifcation of Prime it doesnt mean anything.

Heres mine with a quick IBT pass to max out the temps, and as Jon knows Load Line Callibration switched off thus the higher voltage. I have run prime for 4hours on this before and temps rise to about 80c with an ambient of 27c, but I dont run it 24/7.

Try run IBT at 16 threads with maximum stress level and times to run at 25 times ! And post back with temperature !

As your standard stress level with 5 runs isn't enough to guarantee stable your pc.

I will give it a shot. But it'll have to wait till the weekend cos I'm working. Just installed a new GPU and Soundcard so have to test the OC with that too.

Bulldog, you put you're 4.2oc through the same so we can compare. Turn LLC off as well.

PS, the above was only a quick test to see what sort of thing to expect. test in increments is my motto.

Here we go, 10 passes (all I had time for, about 40mins) IBT on VHigh, 4.2OC LLC off 1600 8,8,8,24T memory........

40 miniutes ibt is enough to max out the temps, 100% stability probably needs 20 runs but didnt have time, maybe at the weekend. but its good enough for a demo, your turn Bulldog.
also had a very high ambient temp of 30c today.
