Lynx / Axe Java spray deodourant

I don't know anyone that continued using Lynx after the age of about 18

A few years ago when I was doing Valued Opinions surveys all the time, I got sent a prototype deodorant called Lynx 'Wet' (100% srs!). It was basically Lynx.. but well.. wetter. Was pretty terrible actually, probably why it didn't get made properly.

Will try and find it at home tomorrow and take a pic.

To be honest, I can't find a spray I actually like.

I used to really like Faberge addiction but I got discontinued some time ago as a cheap & cheerful body-spray.

Lynx reminds me of my old PE changing rooms in school, the combinations of different lynx smells resulted in a foggy cocktail of nasty perfume masking the faint smell of BO, ah the memories..

Generally speaking male deodorant/cologne appeals to men and female deodorant/perfume appeals to females.

I have a deodorant that smells of breadcrumbs, the birds love it.

Use a proper deodorant like Nivea or Right Guard, then lightly apply a nice smelling man-perfume instead. They smell much better than cheapo Lynx. I did use it a lot as a teenager though, genius marketing.

Voodoo was one of the best. Still available in Australia I believe. I also quite liked mirage and alaska. I remember one called systeme as well

Ha! Showing my age now.... Lynx Oriental....

Finding a useable aerosol deodorant that is not antiperspirant (makes me itch far too much) and doesn't smell, shall we say, 'brash' is not so easy.

All of the sure for men/right guard/nivea stuff etc is antiperspirant, so I cannot use them.

Alternatives?

Then there was always the tale that if you sprayed it on someones nipple for a short while then flicked it - that it would fall off.

One i loved but it got discontinued (i forget it's name) It was a sports brand, with a orange and blue bottle and a twist top. Loved it.

Chocolate was pretty bad - who wants to smell like they've just finished a shift mopping the floor of the chocolate factory. Horrendous.
