is it me or is that side profile look like a shortened rear from the m5 and a longer nose, seems like it has very similar lines.

Looks nice enough from some angles, but truly terrible from others. The exhausts are shockingly bad. I have seen more subtle designs on barryboys.

There's something not quite "right" about it. I don't like the exhaust layout that's for sure.

However at least it's proper wheel drive and has the performance to boot. I do like Lexus - I had a go in the GS450H (the hybrid with a 3.5L V6) - awesome car. Stonkingly well equipped and fast as well as economical!

I think I'd have to see this in the flesh to be convinced... it looks a little tacky from the pics. No denying it's an awesome car though.

That looks hideous. The wheels are rank, the bodykit is dreadfull. It looks like 3 different people designed the front, side and back, and none of them knew what the other was doing. The exhausts look stupid, the interior looks a mess. The rear lights look like they're lifted off a hyundai. And a fish tail?

Definately wont be pulling any sensible money away from Audi or BMW IMO.

I love it. However, even though it will likely be technically excellent, in true Lexus fashion it will probably lack the 'emotion' and 'character' that the Japanese constantly harp on about. There's something about BMWs and Audis, they're not as clinical as their Japanese counterparts.

The profile shot makes the front wheel seem bigger than the rear to me.

I can see a hell of a lot more M3's and RS4's selling compared to this so it probably will end up being something a bit different

I look forward to seeing what prices are like on the used market. Do you reckon this will be a used bargain after a year or two on the market or will it be an overpriced M3/RS4 wannabe?

i love the front, and the exhausts.... but the rear spoiler looks crap as do the front wings behind the front wheels.

Bargain or not, it screams Big Pimping.

There is no way on Gods Green that I would own this, and I'd sell a kidney for an M3, both for an RS4.

Now i think it could look really Good as a coupe (Gotta be a 2+2 , Not a 4 full sized seater), because the roofline is to high at the back (where the rear doors are).....
The exhausts need combining into 2 Big ovals, ie 1 each side, same shape, and location, rotated off the vertical, imagine the 2 each side merged into 1, in the same location.

Oh, and it NEEDS a 6sp MANUAL gearbox

and it Best have a great LSD
