looks like tosh tbh,
the m3 and rs4 are pretty descreet cars, not over the top, this car is totally the opposite and just looks awful.

Hmmm, I dunno. I'd have to see it in the flesh before I'd pass judgement, but it looks... OK. I do know what people mean about the sporty in the wrong places look from those pics though. I think it looks like Lexus have tried to give it an "RS" look (hence I think some of the ST220 references).

Yeah, no, I dunno. The jury is still out for me...

I think its great but not loving the Need For Speed exhausts they've tacked on. I'm sure I could live with it though

"Killer" suggests to me that it's leaps and bounds ahead in terms of performance. No Lexus is a "M3/RS4 killer" - but this Lexus is certainly a Toyota Prius killer. A Veyron is a M3/RS4 killer.

Oh dear too many badge freaks in here.

If I swapped the badges from say an M3 and stuck the M3 one on the Lexus people would be slagging the "Lexus" off. Hmmmmmm.

That looks disgusting.

It screams fake BMW all over. If they were going to copy, they could have picked something that actually looks good enough to copy from in the first place.

By "Badge Freak" I assume you mean "badge snob". Being a badge snob has NOTHING to do with it, the car just looks like a shoddy mix of "sporty" aspects of many MANY cars (evo, M5, MG-Xpower, etc etc), it looks poorly designed (the kind of car a child draws when asked to draw a fast car). Even the interior isn't much better, with exception to the dials (which look quite nice), the rest of the dash looks like one solid mass of cheap plastic. Even the "pods" for the tweeters look like an afterthought "oh **** we forgot tweeters".

I notice a lot of comments about tarted up Toyotas. That might be the case but IF the car turned out to put both the M3 and RS4 to shame, would you still dismiss it because it isn't a proper German car?

I know it's a long shot but I'd just like to know peoples opinions.

Yes I would, if I had that sort of cash and the toyota was better than a M3, then I would buy a second hand 911.

I would dismiss the lexus for the way it looks more than anything. I think its hideous regardless of how good a 'drivers' car it turns out to be.

I would much rather have a RS4 than that any day.

Also what is going on with the exhausts?! They really do look terrible!

The badge thing isn't an issue for me personally.

I've got a passionate dislike for it because it's another one of these "it's cool to be black and brash" bling bling sideshow incarnations that's in the same vein as the RR "Sport" and the CLS.

I'd have a Monaro over that, without a shadow of a doubt.

Looks like something ElRazur or Gurdas would cream over tbh.
