Reading through that thread there seems to be a massive issue with drives that reach 5200 hours suddenly borking. Just checked mine and it is at 2500 hours so hopefully there will be a firmware fix available before I reach that point, but anyone who is nearing that run time might want to consider not running 24/7 for the time being.

It seems to be affecting the 64gb, 128gb and possibly the 256gb drives. :(

So far all the RMA replacements that have been provided have been refurbished driver. Not promising if they will just fail again at 5200 hours again...
