My secondary school tech teacher had a courtesy car that was a 3 series converted to a "Ute" now and again. Pretty cool, but I wouldn't want to touch an actual M5 to do it. Maybe a dead E39 with a donor M5 bits.
Why not find a rolled M5 and do it to that, it just seems odd spending all that money on an M5 then chopping it up, bet the rear of thats going to be shocking with no weight over the backend.
I've seen a classic scooby modded like this too. You've got to appreciate the money, talent and time involved in putting it together, but dear god it's an absolute waste.
