I've got a 20" ACD and while it is very nice, the price premium isn't IMO worth it, the panels used the ACD's are always out of date compared to other manufacturers/models.

But from a design point of view it is breath taking to look at

DVD's and movies look great on it, haven't noticed any ghosting so far on games even though it has a slow response time, the colour detail is very good too.

Nice, wouldn't the subwoofer be better on the floor though?

Indeed, thats the HE discounted price- it costs £529 for the 20" Apple screen normally.

Alternatively you could get a 20" Dell 2007WFPs for almost half that price (which use the same panel incidentally)

The phrase "no brainer" springs to mind

Ah sorry, was looking at the 20" there. Price difference remains similar between Apple and other brands though, at the 23/24" level.

Yeh- would be, just the way the desk is- i cant! Cables are too short. Sig fixed too- apologies! Not sure bout all the rules here yet, sorry. K

I was only teasing people

I got the Macbook Pro last week all paid for. I nearly got myself a ACD 23" yesterday but decided to have alook at the alternative. What draws me to the ACD is the look and the colour etc.

I love spending :cool:

Thats whats making me want one also, it'll look so good with my Dual G5 PM and my newly acquired 17" MBP. Loves it!
