Haha, no.. I just didn't use it and so killed the process to save on a few extra CPU cycles.

I didn't realise the dash took up a large amount of RAM while it's not doing anything.

Look in Applications > Utilities > Activity Monitor to find out the usage.

Obviously, the more widgets you have the greater the resources needed.

I use the weather and calculator app everyday aswell just love the stickies!

Try it. It's amazing

Also, the weather widget was never accurate for me.. despite choosing 1 of many different options for my area.
