I still haven't registered my applecareBeatMaster said:Be careful though, they've stopped doing the cheap HE Applecare deal for £50. You now can only do the £150ish one
Tis a shame but then again when you think when your running on the battery the CPU is throttled anyway so the difference in performance would be quite small I feel. Impressive how they've adjusted the prices of RAM to reasonable amounts now though

Same here. I'm a little miffed that my laptop is now "old-hat," but that's what you get when you have a limited, clearly defined product line such as Apple has. Otherwise, there is nothing wrong with it. It can do everything I want it to, and processing power isn't even an important factor for me — not only is memory more of a bottleneck, the processor rarely runs at full pelt, and when it does it sounds like concorde is alive and well again!Dr Jones said:Don't matter really... my MacBook is doing what I'm throwing at it. That's good enough for me.
Now bring on Leopard.
Oh really?BeatMaster said:Applecare is already pre-registered as the warranty belongs the to the unit. If you enter your serial on Apple's website it'll say your covered until 2009

Reason? The guy who served me at apple store said I don't want it I could always sell it on fleabay :\
