hey folks,

finally got a few pics uploaded as promised of the new little beasty! Loving the mac experience so far!

Very nice mate.

Just got my Macbook and am really happy. :) Just going through the recommend applications and browsers to use. Enjoy, am sure you won't be disappointed.
 
yeah am new to macs and the os takes a wee bit of gettin used to but im gettin there. Moving all my things from my pc to mac takes ages tho! Haven't tried anything very intense yet but have got bootcamp and all that sorted so gonna try some games soon! Enjoy ** macbook
 
im really not sure what gb il end up moving. If im watching films while at home il just stream it from my windows machine. Mine MBP has 120gb hd and with bootcamp installed it leaves me with a little less space again so will probably just put uni stuff on it in the meantime and see from there what happens. need to get an external drive sorted out too. Not looking forward to the next bank statement!

did indeed but still it was v pricey. Definitely worth it so far! I couldnt have afforded one if i had left it until i finished uni!

ah the student loan comes to rescue again for hardware fans everywhere ;)
 
if i can afford it id love a mac pro before i leave uni too! Problem is i've only one more 12 week semester left!

Mac pro would be the biz for hi definition video editing whenever it takes off.

Edit: and i never have had a student loan :( Living at home saves some cash though isnt half the fun!

gee, im very sorry mate if i annoyed you! If you look around these forums its quite common to see pics of new purchases whether it be laptops, new pc cases or monitors or what have you.

I'm defo gonna get me either a MacPro or the 24" iMac before I graduate Summer 2008. HE discount is brilliant.

yep loving it so far. Id love 24" imac too but i think the mac pro would allow me more scope with regards to its upgradability. imac is so slick too though!
