Nice vid, I'm guessing that was taken when running OSX... SC2 is supposed to be even smoother under Win7 with bootcamp also (apparently)...

Well, youre paying 30% more for just under 20% extra CPU power, and a slightly larger HDD... It's a shame the CPU's are soldered down! :p

a 2.3Ghz machine would be more than enough for me, in fact unless you're running stuff like Final Cut then I doubt the 2.7Ghz CPU would give much noticeable difference in day to day use...

My MacBook has started making its way to the UK :D It started in China and it is currently awaiting clearance to depart from Germany :p

I think im in a similar situation. Well something is holding up my new MBP 13". Ordered on Feb 26th, now ive got an estimated delivery time of 10-14 March :(

I share your pain.

I just ordered my 15inch and customised it a bit (anti-glare, 7200 Hdd). Before you pay it states 1-3 business days, however on my confirmation email it then tells me 7-10 March!

Oh well, I guess a week won't kill me :(

I'm only going to put in a recently bought 7,200rpm drive mate. :)

Over here the Apple tax on memory isn't as bad so I'm just going to get Apple to upgrade it to 8GB. Will mean less faffing about when coming back to the UK with AppleCare.
 
Hi guys I'm trying to locate an actual size picture of a 13" MBP screen. I've tried googling for just that but so far no luck. I know 13" is 13" but I still need to see it on my screen.
 
15" Macbook Pro with 8GB RAM, High rez Screen and 7200rpm HDD ordered :D

I'm gonna tweak it a bit with a new Vertex 3 once they come out also, can't wait :D
 
I placed my order for my first Mac before the store closed! :)

New 15" 2.2GHz Macbook Pro with His-res glossy screen and 7200 rpm drive. Can't wait until it arrives. :D

Ask someone with a 13" to screenshot it, and post the full size image.

Might even be one in the desktop wallpaper thread, seeing as not many people bother resizing :p
 
Well after all the hoo-hah in this thread, I've decided to move over to the dark side. I've ordered the base model 13", with an iPod Touch to go with it. My first ever Apple stuffs. :D
 
My new MacBook arrived this morning :)
Will be able to rip it open when I get back from work - which cannot come sooner :p

Unfortunatly, I have a fairly important job to go to at 2PM that I can't miss :(

Should be able to get home earlier than usual though :)

One question I do have is...

I will want to transfer all my music from my PC to my new Mac - I plan on just ripping the Ethernet plug from my router and throwing it in my MacBook to transfer the files over Ethernet - I assume that will work?
