Machine to wipe lots of hdd's fast?

Right is there a magical machine you can purchase to completly wipe hard drives so they are non recoverable? it has to be fast though I have about 80 odd drives here and dont want to sit about waiting for software to do the same job :P

Somthing with either natural or electro magnets would be cool. Just to pass the drive through the machine or somming, if there isnt WHY NOT :P

Damn, though there might of been a electro magnet machine or a massive natural magnet driven machine that you pass the discs through.

I placed my man pouch "phone pouch thing" on a raptor by accident, and the whole drive got wiped :S and thst just a small magnet, i just assumed that if you got a load of powerful magned above and below the drive, as it passed throguh the magnetic fields, it would screw over the ions on the discs and make them unreadable?
 
they are just old drives from old machines, where the draive has been replaced so we wont be reusing the drives (most of them are like 4- 20gb n e ways)

Mmmm large magnet :D drill might be a bit messy bandsaw mebbe? tree shredder?

Right so only options are atm:

Posting them using royal mail.
Shredding them.
Using Software to clense them.

So if i was to go the software route, i would have to make a machine for that soul purpose. Is there software that can do say 8 drives at once ?
 
cool, right well looks like a dedicated machine that wipes drives is whats called for. either that or the shredder \o/ i would love that but would spend ost my day shredding things :S
