I am fully woken up so that gives people a right to joke about a 7 yr old being raped does it.

Grow up.

You have to remember your on a interweb general forum, you may have to deal with the Intellectually challenged

Think this thread needs a bit of a clean up

It's a family forum jokes about rape and murder of a child belong elsewhere thankyou very much

GTIracer you have to take into account that most of the ones making jokes about such a tragic event of a child disappearing are pimply teenagers living in their mums house and think they are cool.
At least I hope so...

Indeed. Either that or they are trying to be well 'ard on an internet forum and in real life would be scared to speak to people at all, never mind come out with the abuse that they are.

I completely agree with the first point, but some people believe its acceptable.

I think a lot of the people who condemn it are jumping on the bandwagon.

My parents said they have done similar things with us in the past, although in fairly isolated resorts. I can't remember the exact details of the whole McCann thing and quite frankly I don't care enough to look it up, but some people come out with rubbish like "they left her in the room, they are murderers." Good parenting practise no, makes them to blame for her disappearance? Hardly.

Hardly? Had they not drugged their children and left them unattended, this wouldn't have happened. They are unfit to be parents, and if yours did the same, then that applies to them too. Assuming you believe the "official" story, which I think is somewhat questionable, but either way they are directly responsible for what happened.

Don't have children if you can't be bothered to look after them properly, it's neglect and completely wrong.

Just a weak attempt to keep her name in the media. Most people have forgotten about this - unlikely she is still alive. I do feel sorry for her siblings though, they are going to be seriously messed up.

It's sad, but I have to admit this was the first thing I thought, just yet another attempt by the parents.

Some of the comments on here are cold, this is a child we are talking about guys.

Half of the stuff some of you type on here i bet you don't say to anyone in everyday life.

I'm not sure if some of you do it to look hard on the net or its a tactic to wind people up on here?

Sorry to wine but some of the comments really are pretty borderline sick.

I'd say they'd notice a zombie child if it walked past them on the street.
Mr McCann might even hit it with his shovel again.

Harsh but possibly true. :p

It would be an interesting turn of events if it all came out that they killed her and just keep publicising her in the media to refill the coffers. ;)

Not while the McCann's have money in their bank accounts.

Or guilt in their heart.

Clarence Mitchell, spokesman for Madeleine's parents Gerry and Kate McCann, had said: "Kate and Gerry do not believe the child seen in India was Madeleine. They have seen photographic evidence and concluded that it was not her.

I can empathise with their determination and in similar circumstances I would do the same if not more to find my child.

However I cannot get over the feeling that if they had not been negligent in the first place then their daughter would have remained safe and we would not be having this endless discussion on the fate of a child who in my opinion was sadly let down by the very people she should have been able to rely on.
