Morning all,

Looking to purchase the above, has anyone got either and have they been worth the cash?

Any complaints?

Cheers

The only toaster worth having is a proper Dualit one, toast is crisp on the outside fluffy and warm in the middle.

no idea about their other appliances, but as far as food processors go, they're one of the best

Worth knowing, prefer the 'look' of the magimix though.

If people have any other reccomendations budget as follows:

£100 Kettle
£170 Toaster

Thanks

The magimix will be junk compared to a Dualit one.

They are handmade in England, and you can easily get parts for them, there is no magnetic lock to break or anything else.

You will never ever need to buy another toaster.

Yes. Stop wasting your money. What is the point in that apart from ePenisty?

Seriously.

Ok so I will go buy a tesco value kettle made of plastic, feels cheap, silver ABS plastic to give a look of stainless steel, flimsey on/off switch....must I go on?

Why buy a BMW when you can buy a FIAT?

I like nice things, people go out and splash £50-£70 on a night out, some may say that is a waste, people dont mind paying for a cpu that no one ever sees for double/tripple what the kettle would cost.

Will seriously look into the dualit ones then mate, didnt realise they were hand built.

The magimix however does feel fantastic quality and does edge on looks also.

Out shopping today and saw a porsche design kettle & toaster just to add into the mix, who would have thought buying a kettle & toaster would be as hard as buying a car :P

Each to their own thing and all - but in terms of function...I honestly don't beleive that toast is cooked or water is boiled any better by a £100 device compared to a £30 device. £170 on a toaster is just absurd in my opinion and I'm sure I'm not the only one who thinks that.

CPU's obviously, perform better the more you pay for one..

Delonghi Argento

dualit do a matching kettle but it does not have good reviews. I got this delonghi and i am very pleased with it. nice looking kettle and great performer. paid approx £35 delivered.

The toaster performs better as well. You dont get dried crisp bread, you get perfectly toasted bread thats still fluffy and soft in the middle. I wouldn't spend £170 on one but you really need to try one to see the difference. If I ate enough toast I would buy one.
