Magno-flo

Not to imply that these might actually work, but - if magnets don't affect non-metallic substances, how do MRI scanners work?

The answer of course is that a (powerful) magnet can align the electrons surrounding atoms regardless of which substance it is. How this can possibly relate to improving fuel efficiency is, however, beyond me.

But only in materials with magnetic susceptibility - presumably there aren't many 13-C atoms in the carbon atoms present in the fuel. Either way, you're not going to fit a superconducting magnet into the front of a Mondeo :p

Plus the fact that our bodies are full of molecules that are affected by magnetic force.

I fitted 10 magno-flo devices to my car, it is now so efficient that every other week I need to syphon some petrol out of the car to stop it overflowing. Also my male pattern baldness has reversed. Not sure if related.

13-C atoms aren't the only atoms present in fuel with magnetic susceptibility (although there's probably about one per 15 'petrol' molecules :p). All the 0-H atoms will also be susceptible!
