Nice to see you back in action Tom, awesome RAM. :D

Will the idle timer go any lower at those volts?

yea, a lot probably. I havent even tweaked the ram yet. Just set the 2-2-2-5 int he bios. Once i fiddle with all the other settings the time should come down a bit more.

Conroe's are all banned from super pi :D Conroe's have built in cheats :p

I haven't got a Conroe, I've got an Allendale ;) so here's my results:

Wasn't even trying. I'll post again when I take delivery of my Geil Ultra 6400 and do a lazy OC of it to 2.8ghz :D

Thought I'd resurrect this thread with my improved time.

This one is from a 4000+ San Diego @ 3.24 with RAM 2-3-2-5 (1T) @ 249 MHz (lovely TCCD :D).

Tantalisingly close to top ten but couldn't quite get there (I did get 26.469 but I had to switch everything off, including explorer so I couldn't get a screenie :o).

Ahhhh, nice - can't wait until mine arrives.

If we're going to keep on with this, maybe we should keep the Core 2 Duos separate since they are so far ahead of anything else?

your nice 2-2-2 ram gets you same time as me with 100mhz less clock ...great sticks and nice 3700+ :)

here's mine with a 4000+ ...slower time because of 2gb ballistix but not too shabby :D

Thought i'd trow an apple machine into the mix.

A Mac Mini Core Duo 1.66Ghz clocks in at 36 seconds.

I'm guessing it only uses 1 core though as the CPU load never drifts far over 50%
