Major upgrade (£3000+ build) critique? :P

Well hopefully this summer will leave me with lots of fond memories <3 (errr from my holiday - not my PC upgrade lol)

On a different note - whats the general view on the 780i chipset? I seem to remember reading lots of complaints regarding stability (especially on ASUS boards)? Or have most of these issues been fixed with the later BIOS' ?
 
Hmm i might be persuaded to OC... if someone can reccomend a good (simple) watercooling kit to get, and basic info! lol ;)

From what i know (by reading a few online reviews - so not much!) games benefit quite a bit from the increased cache - but would having a faster FSB speed (1600MHz compared to 1333MHz) have any tangible difference?
 
Deciding on the RAM is going to be annoying i can see :P

Is there a clear 'kickass' one to go for right now? (baring in mind i'll want 4GB minimum really.. especially if i have the misfortune of using Vista)
